Hello there my name is Muhammad Syauqi but you can call me Key. I'm a final year student finishing my Bachelor of Design in Animation. My aim is to be part of a highly esteemed animation team while gaining knowledge and experience from the industries masters and take the opportunity to sharpen my skills while mastering the art of storytelling.

I did my internship at Inspidea and was part of two international projects.

I'm a keen learner and have knowledge on using software such as Toon Boom Harmony, 3DS Max, Flash, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator etc.

I love film and animations. I love to skecth but don't do it often enough, hopefully that will change in the near future. I'am very optimistic about my future in the animation industry.

Was part of the Animation team working with Ungku Omar Polytechnic's Marine Department to develop an Edu-Animation video for Marine Day 2013

We all have vision for what we hope to achieve in the future, well this is my vision. In 5 years time I plan to be part of a respective international Animation studio to learn the arts and skills of animation from the masters and all while creating  my own product of Animation something that is different and  an animation that represents my own heart and passion for animation (I might achieve this on my own or with people who share this passion with me).

I hope that the animation industry in Malaysia doesn't get blinded by money making agenda and will always remember the heart of it all which is Storytelling because at the end of it we do our animations because we want to tell stories, our stories. I hope the animation industries Malaysia will not be trap in a formulated loop that is represented in our local film industries, I hope we can make something different and unique that could capture the hearts of audience around the world much like Disney has done before.

As for my contribution, I hope to tell my story through animation and hopefully inspire up and coming animators to rise up and tell their own story to make the animation industry something meaningful, if in process we are able to make a mark for Malaysia in the global animation industries that that is a plus. I have made a promise to a a well-known animation consultant and also a father to inspire his children and other children through the magic of animation; and I aim to keep my promise.
